God's leading John to Mead:
It was not until Sunday, September 28 that we even became aware of the upcoming pastoral opening at Mead Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC). As we ministered that Sunday we discerned a fresh spirit and open heart in the church to the movement of the Spirit of God. God later revealed that many of the past and current events in our own lives had taken place to direct us to this opportunity. Through prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, over the next several months, God further stirred our hearts for Mead and Saunders County. We believe the Mead ECC is poised to enter into a new and hopeful chapter of its long history. We are excited about sharing the future with you and believe God has much in-store for all of us as we walk this road together.
